Annual Alumni Dinner '03

     The Annual Alumni meet 2003 on 29th September, Saturday, celebrated the alumni and their    achievements at Alfa Gardens, Pusa Road. The mood of the evening was set on the notes of nostalgia    associated with the alma mater. It was for the first time that MIB and MRROD combined their efforts.
 
     The evening started by the launch of Alumni directory by Hon'ble Prof.B.P. Singh, former HOD of    Department of Commerce. It was followed by the address by the current HOD Prof. S.R. Khanna who
   in his speech gave emphasis on the importance of Alumni relationships. Then the course coordinator Dr
   A.K. Seth, alongwith Dr. Khanna inaugurated the placement brochure of both MIB / MHROD. The
   evening went further with alumni from both courses coming on the dais and sharing their vision and
   experiences.
     
     There is always something more, which the freshers can learn from the practical experience of their    seniors; hence the Alumni from each batch were called upon to share the words of wisdom. The evening    was made interesting by the performance of our students who brought forward their talent by
   performing skit which gave glimpse of life at prestigious Delhi School Of Economics and one could
   see the feeling of nostalgia on alumni's faces, looking at that skit.

     It wasn't long when everybody was busy catching up with each other and it was time for many to go    down the memory lane and relive the treasured moments of the time when they were students.

     The latter part of the evening saw most of the people putting their foot down on the dance floor. The
   lush green lawns at Alfa Garden were buzzing with the melodious music till the stroke of midnight. We in   MIB and MHROD have this constant endeavor of organizing and bettering the alumni meet every year.
